About Us
Dr. Brothman is Past President of the Academy of Stomatology (the oldest dental society in America) and the Grossman Endodontic Study Club. He is Past President of the Albert Einstein Medical Center Endodontic Alumni Society.
To keep abreast of current developments and research, Dr. Brothman takes many hours of continuing education each year. The state of Pennsylvania mandates 30 hours every two years for dentists; Dr. Brothman exceeds that number of hours in just one year.
In his free time, Dr. Brothman enjoys fly-fishing, skiing, oil painting, and motorcycling. Examples of two of his oil paintings can be seen in the photographs of the reception area.

Dr. Brothman received his dental degree from McGill University in Montreal in 1968. After six years of general dental practice, he returned to graduate school at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and Albert Einstein Medical Center to earn a specialty degree in endodontics. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, the highest academic and clinical status that a specialist can achieve.
Dr. Brothman is a lifelong educator. He has been an Associate Professor at the University of Pennsylvania and is currently Senior Attending on the teaching staff of the Graduate Endodontics Program at Albert Einstein Medical Center. He has frequently lectured to many dental societies over the years.
