What precautions do you take to ensure patient safety?

We follow all the precautions recommended by the Centers for Disease Control encompassing Universal Precautions. Our instruments are sterilized in an autoclave and the doctor and staff wears the appropriate gloves, facial masks and safety glasses during your care. You will be given safety glasses and the treated tooth is isolated from the saliva in your mouth by a rubber shield. Our sterilization equipment is monitored weekly to ensure the total sterility of our instruments. You will find the office to be clean, neat and well appointed. We provide complimentary toothbrushes and toothpaste for your convenience. We take great care to treat you as we would want to be treated.

What makes you different than any other dental practice I can visit?

The demeanor, kindness, professionalism and experience of everyone on our staff make this office truly outstanding. You will find that the unrushed, soothing environment actually helps you to relax and be more comfortable during dental care. Many patients have told us that the root canal procedure in our office was the most pleasant dental experience they ever had and some even snooze while under treatment.

I really do not like visiting the dentist. Is there anything you can do to help me relax?

We take great care in ensuring that your visit is pain free with the use of local anesthesia. Nitrous Oxide analgesia is available for those individuals who need that extra edge of relaxation that it provides. For those individuals who wish to be put to sleep during their treatment, a Board Certified Medical Anesthesiologist will come to the office to safely administer IV Sedation. Most importantly, you are treated as an individual addressing your own special needs and concerns. If there is something that we can do to make you feel more comfortable, just ask!

My child has had an accident and his/her tooth has been knocked out. What should I do?

Please call our office immediately, day or night! We will return your call as quickly as possible. After talking with you and determining the extent of your child's injury, we will be able to guide you on how to proceed with your child's care. In any case, if the tooth cannot be put back in its socket by an adult, place the tooth in cold milk until you receive instructions from the doctor. The quicker a tooth is re-implanted in its socket, the better the chances of preserving the tooth in the mouth.
